The exit of the ISS of Russia can result in a new spatial breed

Russia has announced that it is not long since it was planning to leave the ISS next year. At the same time, Russia is cozyer with China and both countries plan to work together in space. The United States and Russia have worked together for a long time aboard the ISS, having experienced a mutually beneficial relationship serving as a symbol of cooperation.

Russian leaders threaten out of the ISS project as early as 2024. The US government and NASA want the ISS to continue to operate up to at least 2030. NASA is currently prohibited by the Federal Law to work with China on any space project. Earlier this year, China and Russia have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a common lunar base. Russia leaving the ISS and working with China could launch a new spatial race.

The spatial race in the 1960s finally ended with NASA putting astronauts on the moon. Before NASA can conduct conversations about cooperation with China, it would require explicit approval from the FBI or Congress. Nelson says that if Russia begins according to China, it expects a new moon race with China and Russia against the United States. Nelson is clear that he wants NASA’s cooperation with Russia continues in space.

For the moment, Russia still plans to make repairs necessary for the ISS and always plan flights for Russian cosmonauts to and from the spatial station. Cooperation continues for the moment, but it is not clear if it will last 2024 years.
