CTL Chromebox CBX2 could be the most powerful Chrome OS office office yet

Chrome OS devices have gained the reputation of being low-cost computers and mainly, mainly because of how most Chromebooks, especially the first, were precisely those. These days, however, Google and its OEM partners have been trying to raise the profile of Chromebooks and Chromeboxes providing hardware components. That, of course, also means raising prices and that combination may be best seen in the newest CBX2 CBX2 of CTL, which can have the hardware to rival even some game computers.

Part of the reason why Chrome OS directed the level of entry at the entrance to the middle range hardware was to make Chromebooks more attractive for schools and companies that would buy bulk devices. You could also afford to run on less powerful devices because you downloaded many of the processing needs of applications for the Web. However, today’s Chrome operating system is far from its first days and can definitely take advantage of the most powerful hardware available today.

The new CHROMEBOX CBX2 box of CTL offers that and then some. It has several models available, but its most powerful runs on an Intel Core i7-10610U core. It is not exactly the last Intel processor of 11th gene, but, for a Chromebox, that is already a lot of energy.

But wait, there’s more! CTL also launches in a whopping 64 GB of RAM DDR4, most Chromome OS devices, whether Chromebox or Chromebook, may have seen. There is also a lot of storage space with the SSD Flash of 2TB M.2 that adapts to the interior.

You probably should not be surprised that the CHROMEBOX CBX2 CTL also comes with a WHOPING $ 1,419 price tag. Developers who want to take advantage of Chrome OS capacity to host Linux and Android environments will not be disappointed and could also test the computer for the future of Chrome OS game. That said, the company also offers a cheaper setting of $ 729 that maintains the same CPU, but low RAM degrades at 8 GB and storage to an EMMC of 128 GB.
